Don McLean - American Pie 55th Anniversary Tour

More than 50 years after American Pie reshaped popular music, Don McLean returns to Wollongong this October to mark the song’s 55th anniversary. Still touring at 81, McLean continues to captivate audiences with performances that celebrate a catalogue woven into the cultural fabric of the late 20th century and beyond.

From the iconic opening lines of American Pie to beloved classics such as Vincent (Starry, Starry Night), Castles in the Air, and And I Love You So, his concerts are more than performances - they are shared memories brought to life.
