Jimmy Carr Ticket Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
The Promoter is WIN Sports & Entertainment Centres, 3/49 Harbour Street, Wollongong NSW 2500.

2. Competition Period
The competition opens at 7:00am AEST on Friday 18 April and closes at 3:00pm AEST on Thursday 24 April ("Competition Period"). Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, What's On in Wollongong, and associated agencies are ineligible to enter.

4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must complete the following steps during the Competition Period:

  • Comment on the competition post on the ‘What’s On in Wollongong” Facebook or Instagram page and tag a friend they would bring to the show.
  • Follow both @winentertainmentcentre and @whatsoninwollongong on Facebook, or @win_entertainment_centre and @whatsoninwollongong on Instagram.

Participants may enter multiple times, provided that each comment tags a different friend. Duplicate or spam entries (e.g. tagging the same person repeatedly) may be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion.

Bonus entry (Instagram only):
Participants may receive one (1) bonus entry by sharing the competition post to their Instagram Story and tagging both @WINEntertainmentCentre and @WhatsOnInWollongong.
Bonus entries will only be considered if the tagged Story is correctly visible to the Promoter’s account. 

5. Prize
There is one (1) prize to be won, consisting of:

  • Two (2) tickets to see Jimmy Carr live at WIN Entertainment Centre on Saturday 7 March, 2026.
  • Total prize value: Approx. AUD $198.
  • Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
  • The winner is responsible for all other costs, including transport and accommodation.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
  • The draw will take place on Thursday 24 April at 4:00pm AEST.
  • The winner will be announced via “What’s On in Wollongong” social media and contacted via direct message.
  • If the winner does not respond within 3 days, a new winner may be selected.

7. Use of Personal Information
By entering, participants consent to WIN Sports and Entertainment Centres and What’s On in Wollongong using their name and social media handle for the purpose of announcing the winner and promoting the competition.

8. General Conditions

  • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Event Disclaimer
If the Jimmy Carr event is cancelled or rescheduled for any reason, the Promoter is not liable for prize replacement or compensation. Tickets are issued subject to the event and venue's terms and conditions.
